Job summary

General Galactic Technologies Corporation is seeking a Fluids Engineer to design and analyze critical fluids systems for spacecraft, propulsion, and ground test hardware. You will own fluid architectures, perform first-principles analysis, and collaborate with a focused technical team to move quickly with high ownership.

You will work across cryogenics, heat transfer, and mechanical design, producing simulations, drawings, and test procedures while supporting safety assessments and rapid

Qualifications

  • BS in mechanical, aerospace, chemical engineering or related technical field.
  • 2+ years designing, analyzing, building, or testing fluid, propulsion, thermal, mechanical, or cryogenic systems.
  • Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, compressible flow.
  • Hands-on experience with pressurized fluid systems (tanks, valves, regulators, tubing).
  • Experience with CAD, Python/MATLAB, CFD/FEA for engineering analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Own fluid system architecture and integration for spacecraft vehicles and ground test hardware.
  • Support cryogenic fluid system development.
  • Develop and maintain simulations, calculations, and models.
  • Perform fluid and thermal analyses including boiloff and heat transfer.
  • Create drawings, interface definitions, assembly and test procedures.
  • Plan, execute, and troubleshoot testing of fluid and propulsion systems.
  • Lead system safety assessments and hazard controls.
