The role covers planning, setup, execution, and data analysis of tests that validate spacecraft hardware for launch readiness. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field related to aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, thermal systems, dynamics, instrumentation or electrical systems.
• Interest in spacecraft environmental testing and hardware development.
• Experience with programming or scripting for data analysis or test automation (Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Julia, or C++).
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills, with hands-on aptitude for hardware.

Responsibilities

• Assist environmental test engineers with planning, preparation, and execution of spacecraft environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration, acoustic).
• Support test setup, instrumentation, and data collection for environmental campaigns.
• Prepare hardware, fixtures, and test configurations for tests; run functional checkouts under supervision.
• Monitor tests, identify anomalies, and contribute to troubleshooting and root-cause analyses.
• Analyze test data to verify hardware performance and test requirements; generate initial reports.
