Job summary

K2 Space Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a stellar Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team for a 3‑month internship. You will develop novel electrical designs, from PCBAs to full systems, and work hands-on with power, digital, and mixed-signal designs used across satellites.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, qualify designs through environmental testing, and help integrate hardware into spacecraft.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
  • 6+ months experience of technical engineering skills outside the university setting classroom (e.g., lab, projects, internship).

Responsibilities

  • Design electronics PCBAs for spacecraft including architecture, component selection, circuit board design, bring-up and debugging.
  • Qualify designs through environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum).
  • Integrate designs into spacecraft systems and operate hardware in flight.
  • Develop test equipment, PCBAs, and test scripts.
