Job summary

Xona is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our satellite development team in Burlingame, CA. You will design, develop, and integrate electrical systems powering our spacecraft, working with engineers across subsystems to ensure seamless integration from design through flight.

This hands‑on role requires hands-on lab work, testing, debugging, and participation in AIT activities, with opportunities to contribute to avionics, power systems, and system‑level integration in a cutting‑edge space

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years from schematic through manufacturing.
• Experience with Altium, KiCad, SPICE.
• Strong fundamentals in electronics and power systems.
• Hands-on testing with lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical power subsystems for spacecraft.
• Perform schematic capture and contribute to PCB layout.
• Participate in hardware design reviews.
• Develop and execute electrical test plans from breadboard to flight hardware.
• Troubleshoot and debug in the lab with standard test equipment.
• Support component sourcing and ICDs for satellite subsystems.
• Assist with AIT activities and system-level testing.
