Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Space Vehicle Verification and Validation Lead to deliver a fully qualified system ready for launch. You will oversee integration of spacecraft bus to payloads, ground system, and launch vehicle while planning and executing the test program for system-level tests.

The role requires leadership, deep systems engineering expertise, and the ability to produce verification reports. A TS/SCI clearance is preferred, relocation may be provided, and you will join a mission-driven

Responsibilities

The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit. The Space Vehicle Verification and Validation Lead is responsible for delivering a fully qualified system to our customers that is ready for launch. Join us in developing a first-of-its-kind space vehicle and execute the verification phase of the mission. This role will include overseeing the integration of the spacecraft bus to payloads, ground system, and launch vehicle as well as planning and executing the test program for the system level tests. Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Software engineering; or related technical subject area 8 or more years of space system development or test engineering experience 2 or more years of spacecraft verification experience Demonstrated understanding of systems engineering fundamentals including requirements derivation, verification and validation Background in creating requirement verification reports and roll-up verification of lower level requirements to system level sell-off Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to earn trust and maintain positive customer relationships Ability to obtain a US Govt TS/SCI clearance

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range for: VA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20 CO applicants is $110,938.00 - $155,312.85 WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20 Other site ranges may differ
