Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Test and Launch Site Engineering Manager to own all onsite test operations at our Long Beach, CA facility, overseeing propulsion, fluids, and structures testing. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, drive campaigns, and ensure safety, compliance, and readiness for every test.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace test operations, including propulsion or fluids system testing.
• Proven experience managing a test site or remote operations facility.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams with safety and compliance focus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent test programs.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the test facility, staffing, scheduling, facility maintenance, and infrastructure readiness.
• Lead propulsion, fluids, and structures test campaigns from setup through data delivery.
• Hire, develop, and manage engineers, test technicians, and site personnel.
• Own site safety for hazardous operations including propellant handling and high-energy testing, interface with authorities.
• Establish maintenance and calibration of test stands and ground support equipment; manage vendor relationships.
• Serve as primary interface between test site and engineering, quality, and program management teams.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EPA, and fire authority requirements; maintain permits and records.
