These systems establish software development capabilities to securely and rapidly field mission applications developed by BMC3 ecosystem participants in support of Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) objectives.
SAIC has an immediate need for a Space Test Engineer with software (SW) & hardware (HW) development, integration, operations and maintenance experience for space and ground systems. This position is located in Grand Forks, ND. We are looking for an innovative and motivated individual to be SAIC's on-site representative to plan and execute testing, training, maintenance, and operate the BMC3 ground hardware and support NDSA operators at the SDA SNOC.
Bachelor's Degree and nine plus (9+); Master's Degree and five plus (5+); PhD or JD and two plus (2+) years of working experience with systems engineering and test experience in space, ground, operations and sustainment segments of DoD, NSA, or NRO programs.
Proven delivery record with systems engineering, testing, and integration experience with hardware and software systems.
Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams.
Experienced at self-starting, seeking solutions, and works well in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux-based operating systems, including the ability to navigate, configure, and troubleshoot systems in operational environments.
Understanding of command-line tools or system monitoring, scripting, and process management.
Experience working with software repositories such as Gitlab, Nexus, or similar tools for version control, artifact management, and collaborative development.
