Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. invites motivated undergrads to a 10-week Software Engineering Internship. You’ll work on project-based software development, testing, and documentation alongside experienced engineers, with mentorship and professional development opportunities.

The program runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027 at locations including San Diego, El Segundo, Pittsburgh, and more. Travel for orientation and final presentation is required as part of the experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of software engineering and programming concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, or related technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for in-person orientation and final presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software for projects.
• Learn and work with existing software systems, codebases, APIs, databases, and tools.
• Contribute to development and implementation of features, tools, or services.
• Assist with integrating components and validating functionality through testing.
• Develop and execute test cases to verify requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
• Document technical designs, implementation approaches, and integration steps.
• Contribute ideas to improve functionality and processes.
