Job summary

Voyager Technologies is offering a 10-week Software Engineering Intern program designed for highly motivated undergraduates. The internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027, with hands-on project work, mentorship, and professional development.

Interns will support engineering teams across software development, testing, and documentation at locations including Long Beach, CA. Travel for orientation and final presentation is required as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably pursuing Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Demonstrated understanding of fundamental software engineering and programming concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, or related technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for orientation, kickoff, and final presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software for assigned projects.
• Learn and work with existing software systems, codebases, APIs, databases, and development tools.
• Contribute to the development of new features, tools, services, or applications.
• Assist with integrating software components and validating functionality through testing.
• Develop and execute test cases to verify requirements.
• Document designs, implementation approaches, testing, and integration steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews and discussions.
• Contribute ideas to improve software functionality and processes.
• Complete assigned projects accurately within timelines.
