Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA, seeks an Associate Staff in Space Tactics and Test Group to help architect and execute technical initiatives. You will design and build achievable solutions and verify their effectiveness through experiments, exercises, briefings, and test events.

The role may involve direct technical contributions, or leading a team, and you will help connect the group with military users while exploring new technical areas.

Qualifications

• Masters or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics; in lieu of Masters, Bachelor's with 5+ years experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical areas and apply to solve mission problems.
• Ability to clearly present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in high-level programming languages (Python, Java) for modeling/data analysis.
• Ability to independently understand substantial technical problems and develop working solutions.
• Experience working in large or medium teams.
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to lead exploration in new technical areas.
