Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Software Engineer-Developer 4 for a contract opportunity in Seal Beach, CA. The role is 100% onsite with full-time hours, focusing on designing, developing and maintaining non-embedded software across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or related field.
Active Top Secret or DoD Top Secret clearance.
3+ years of software development for space systems and ground segments.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non-embedded software across the end-to-end lifecycle.
Develops, documents and maintains architectures, algorithms, interfaces and designs.
Debugs and resolves issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
Builds APIs and backend services for platform ecosystem with focus on automation and security.
Lead development of critical features from design through deployment.
Conduct code reviews and translate design mockups into user interfaces.
