Job summary

RTX in Huntsville, AL is seeking science, technology, engineering or mathematics students for internship, co-op or early-career opportunities. You will work on modeling and simulation for space-based systems, collaborate with a team, and apply engineering practices to complex problems.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a BS (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Preferred majors include Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving in the field of modeling and simulation to analyze work across a wide range of intriguing computational problems related to space-based systems and satellites.
• You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.
