Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer internship to work on space flight hardware within the Space Systems Sector. You will perform a variety of manufacturing tasks, calibrate and test equipment, and follow engineering drawings and instructions.

The role is part of the Space Systems Sector Mission Enabling Products (MEP) team, with duties including calibration, alignment checks, and data reporting. Strong GPA and STEM focus preferred.

Qualificações

• Full-time STEM student enrolled for Fall 2027.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a variety of duties in manufacturing and space flight hardware areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment.
• Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks and prepares compounds as directed.
