Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a skilled technician to support integration and testing of components and subsystems. The role focuses on planning, executing, and documenting tests for in‑house and COTS/GOTS parts, with emphasis on hardware/software interfaces and system-wide integration.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, wiring harnesses, and drawing interpretation, and must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools including Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers and/or Function Generators.
• Experience with electronics testing equipment.
• Experience with electrical harnesses or electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and/or following test procedures.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in‑house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
• Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
• Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
