Qualifications

  • Experience working on spacecraft, satellites, launch systems, or complex aerospace hardware.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and hardware development.
  • Mechanical design experience using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Comfortable working directly with hardware in a lab or workshop.
  • Experience with component selection, vendor management, and manufacturing discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing spacecraft and space‑related hardware systems.
  • Supporting system architecture, requirements definition, and subsystem integration.
  • Owning mechanical design activities from concept through manufacturing.
  • Working closely with suppliers and vendors on component selection and procurement.
  • Participating in hardware assembly, integration, and testing activities.
