Job summary

Infinity Systems Engineering seeks a Systems Engineer to support MBSE of space system architectures and run analytical modeling. The role blends SysML modeling with hands-on C++, MATLAB, or Python development to analyze performance and inform decisions.

The position can be filled at IC1/IC2/IC3 level based on experience, with DoD Secret clearance required and TS/SCI-Eligibility preferred. Collaborative, client-facing environment with structured professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 0–5 years of experience in systems engineering and/or model & simulation.
• Current DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI-Eligibility desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop MBSE/SysML models representing space system architectures, interfaces, behaviors, and requirements.
• Develop C++, MATLAB, and/or Python software to support system modeling, simulation, analysis, and engineering workflows.
• Translate space mission concepts and system requirements into executable or descriptive models for engineering analysis.
• Contribute to modeling and simulation activities to evaluate system behavior, interfaces, and architecture alternatives.
• Analyze space mission and system data to characterize performance and inform decisions.
• Integrate MBSE models with analytical models, simulations, and other artifacts.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and mission engineers to maintain consistency between architecture, models, and implementation.
• Support technical reviews, trade studies, engineering analyses, and customer deliverables.
• Communicate technical results and recommendations to engineering teams and Government stakeholders.
