Job summary

GreenDart Incorporated seeks a senior systems engineer to create and integrate interdisciplinary digital models and systems for a space sector program. You will mentor teams and guide system development from concept through lifecycle, applying MBSE and digital engineering tools.

You will perform design reviews, manage requirements verification, and collaborate with government clients and FFDRDCs to achieve program goals, while addressing risks and documenting results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering.
• 8+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing SE products for DoD/government systems.
• 3+ years MBSE for development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture using digital engineering tools (Cameo/MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody).
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Ability to lead multiple SE and PM functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification.
• Ability to communicate with government clients, FFRDCs, and contractors to meet program goals.

Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models and systems engineering products from concept throughout the product lifecycle on a Medium Earth Orbit Space and Ground system. Apply extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge to guide system development. Find innovative solutions to complex integration problems. Mentor and supervise team members on systems engineering tasks, including digital model development.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience with large-scale missions, systems engineering and integration
• 8+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
• 3+ years of experience with MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
• Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Model-Based Verification and Validation
• Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
• Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design
• Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• TS/SCI clearance
• INCOSE SE Certification

Salary Range:

$96,352 - $206,189
