Job summary

E-Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a System Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and validate electrical systems for space-grade products. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance hardware that meets stringent space and power constraints.

The role emphasizes analog and mixed-signal design, SoC integration, and seamless hardware/software collaboration, with a focus on small form factor implementations in LEO satellite contexts.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering with system-level design and integration.
• Knowledge of PMICs, amplifiers, codecs, sensors, op-amps, ADCs, DACs, memory, charging circuits, and SoC integration.
• Understanding of analog and mixed-signal design, noise, linearity, and signal integrity.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, PCIe.
• Experience integrating designs into small form factor products for space/power constraints.
• Experience prototyping, debugging, and characterizing mixed-signal hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design system-level solutions with SoCs, schematic and layout evaluations, manufacturing support, production testing, system validation, and troubleshooting.
• Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and subsystems, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure successful integration.
• Perform schematic design and PCB layout reviews meeting performance, power, and size constraints.
• Conduct system validation and testing to verify functionality.
• Work with vendors to select components compatible with design specs.
