Job summary

Katalyst Space is seeking an experienced supply chain leader to oversee end-to-end procurement for spacecraft development and production. You will build strong supplier relationships, manage long-lead components, and drive efficient sourcing to support rapid development cycles.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s in a related field and 5+ years in high-reliability industries, with strong negotiation skills and startup-execution mindset. Role requires on-site collaboration in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field related to supply chain.
• 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management in aerospace/defense/high-reliability industries.
• Experience managing complex hardware supply chains with long-lead components and technical suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of hardware and services for spacecraft development and production.
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers and strategic partners; negotiate pricing, lead times, and long-term agreements.
• Manage material planning, inventory, and demand forecasting to balance cost, schedule, and risk in rapid development cycles.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and program management to identify risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Establish scalable procurement, sourcing, and supplier management processes for transition from development to production.
