Space Superiority MS&A Applications Solutions

Qualis LLC is seeking a skilled engineer for the Space Superiority Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis and Applications Solutions role. This position involves developing advanced modeling and simulation capabilities to support space superiority operations and initiatives. The successful candidate will conduct simulations analyzing potential threats and operational capabilities in the space domain.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and assess simulation scenarios, ensuring they meet operational and strategic requirements. Strong analytical skills and effective communication of technical information are essential.

This position is seeking two candidates and is fully remote.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited university
• 5+ years of relevant experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably in defense or aerospace
• Strong understanding of space systems, operations, and satellite technologies
• Experience with simulation tools, methodologies, and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
• Effective teamwork skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
• US Citizenship required to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related engineering or science field
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and approaches
• Experience with high-performance computing systems
• Knowledge of satellite communication, surveillance, or missile defense systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and presentations
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
