Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Willing to complete a background investigation and apply for TS/SCI clearance.
• 2+ years in Space Situational Awareness, satellite catalog maintenance, orbital analysis or collision avoidance.
• Knowledge of orbital mechanics and astrodynamics.
• Familiarity with Linux-based OS (Red Hat/Fedora).
• Ability to apply orbital mechanics to operations including orbit determination.
• Excellent communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Solve orbital mechanics problems and process data for orbit states and predictions.
• Coordinate and integrate information across functions to deliver products for situational awareness.
• Potential to broaden into conjunction assessment and other orbit analysis tasks.
• Crew work with outside normal business hours may be required.
