Space Kinetic is a space technology startup building a new architecture for space operations. We seek a Technical Project Manager, Software, to align teams and drive delivery of critical software for next‑generation space systems.

You’ll apply discipline to scale development across software, hardware, systems and test teams. Onsite in El Segundo, CA, you will lead planning, scheduling, and risk management with a results‑driven, collaborative approach, communicating complex tradeoffs to technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years as a software engineer or in a similar technical role.
• 3+ years coordinating software development projects.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, cost and scope management.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
• Ability to identify and manage technical dependencies and risks.
• Clear communication of complex technical information to stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional planning and risk-management across teams.
• Results-driven with a focus on clarity and accountability.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software, hardware, systems and test activities across teams.
• Remove roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of software capabilities.
• Provide structure and technical coordination to scale development.
