Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Software Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and operate the infrastructure, tooling, and workflows used to build, release, deploy, and test spacecraft software.

You will collaborate with Software and GNC engineers to create automated deployment and test systems for multiple spacecraft and hardware-in-the-loop test platforms, owning CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and IaC for HITL testing.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Software Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with Git and CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI/CD, Github Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, or equivalent) used to build automation and developer tooling.
• Demonstrated experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience with Linux systems, network configuration, and common networking protocols.

Mansioni

• Partner with Software and GNC teams to develop, operate, and continuously improve automated build, integration, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain systems for deploying binaries and other software artifacts to spacecraft hardware used for flight and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing.
• Develop reliable, automated deployment workflows that support software releases and test operations at launch and test sites.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and data-analysis capabilities supporting CI, release readiness, and test operations.
• Develop and maintain containerized environments and infrastructure-as-code automation to provision, configure, and operate CI, HITL, and test-site infrastructure.
