Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer at Level 2 or Level 3 in Redondo Beach, CA to support Space Development Agency programs. The role is on-site and requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility. You will engage in requirements, architecture, and test activities across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of systems engineering experience in aerospace/defense/space programs.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience managing requirements, system architecture, and CONOPs development.
• Working knowledge of MBSE tools (CAMEO, SysML, UML).
• Past experience using Python.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, integrate, and verify system requirements for SDA programs and related mission capabilities.
• Perform systems engineering across the lifecycle: requirements analysis, decomposition, interface definition, architecture development, baselining.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, integration & test, cybersecurity, ops, and external partners for end-to-end performance.
• Develop and maintain SE artifacts: requirements specifications, ICDs, CONOPS, verification matrices, and technical presentations.
• Support trade studies, analyses, and risk assessments to meet mission, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Prepare charts, present data, and provide recommendations to internal teams, leadership, customers, and stakeholders.
• Support system integration, test planning, anomaly resolution, and verification/validation activities.
