Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking engineers to coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of complex engineering projects. You will plan programs, review designs for compliance with engineering principles and customer requirements, and manage design changes and releases.

The role requires strong communication across disciplines, independent work, and a DoD Secret clearance eligible status; teamwork and project execution are essential in a dynamic space environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to develop and execute project plans
• Ability to compile, present information to management, and communicate across disciplines
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects
• Plan and formulate engineering program; review design for compliance
• Evaluate and approve design changes and releases
• Coordinate activities on technical developments, scheduling and resolving design/test problems
