Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Program Acquisition Specialist to support the U.S. Space Force program in El Segundo, CA, focusing on acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and program execution.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance (SAP), a Bachelor's degree or higher, and 5–7+ years of defense acquisition experience. You will develop planning briefs and assess contractor progress to meet requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years (with Bachelor's) or 5+ years (with a Masters) in military/intel acquisition/program management.
• Experience interfacing with acquisition offices.

• Support and advise the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership in regards to acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting and execution (PPBE).
• Develop and oversee acquisition planning briefs and documents (ESIS, ASP, ASD, etc.).
• Develop overarching program planning and execution documents from DODI 5000.02 and relevant DOD, AF, and SMC policies.
• Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design / milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and issues to achieve requirements.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Program Acquisition Specialist on our new 10 year-long SETA U.S. Space Force (USSF) program to provide support in developing and deploying space-based weapon systems capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, CA.

Location: El Segundo, California

Responsibilities for the Space Program Acquisition Specialist:

• Support and advise the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership in regards to acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting and execution (PPBE).

Compensation:

• $140,000 - $175,000 (Pay based on years of experience and education)
