TalentBurst is seeking a Buyer III in Cape Canaveral, FL for a 6-month onsite assignment. You will manage suppliers and teammates to support external development of spaceflight systems, prioritize requirements, and drive procurement strategies from RFPs to LTAs.

Ideal candidates hold a 5+ year background in Supply Chain with a Bachelor’s in Business or related field, familiarity with FAR, and experience handling FFP, T&M, CPFF/CPIF contracts. Space industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or similar with minimum 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in Supply.
• Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and contract types including FFP, T&M, CPFF/CPIF.

Responsabilités

• Manage and direct suppliers and teammates to support external development of spaceflight systems.
• Prioritize and execute program requirements to meet needs.
• Prepare and issue RFPs/RFQs, analyze prices, and develop negotiation strategies.
• Construct contracting types for procurement activities including LTAs.
• Own the procurement process from requisition to payment and resolve issues.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic LTAs and partnerships.
• Support procurement organization’s strategic direction and corporate objectives.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of production materials meeting specs.
• Knowledge of procurement, supplier management, and AS9100 standards.
• Experience with import/export (ITAR/EAR) regulations.
