Description
We are looking for an innovative and experienced Interior Design Manager to lead the design strategy for our fast-paced, customer-centric market 24/7 and food service locations. This role blends design excellence with operational functionality—creating engaging, efficient, and brand-consistent environments that drive traffic, enhance customer experience, and support high-volume operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver spaces that are visually compelling, scalable, and optimized for both retail and food service delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design Strategy & Execution
- Partner with our clients to lead the design of new market and food service spaces—from concept development through final installation
- Create cohesive environments that align with our brand identity while meeting the unique demands of 24/7 operations
- Incorporate food service workflows, merchandising displays, lighting, seating zones, self-service kiosks, and grab-and-go design principles into each layout
- Select materials and finishes that support durability, cleanliness, safety, and high-throughput functionality
- Communicate designs through CAD packages and 3D renderings
- Create presentations and meet with clients and internal partners to communicate vision and concepts
Project & Operations Coordination
- Work closely with operations, culinary, and retail merchandising teams to ensure designs support daily functions, traffic flow, food safety, and staff efficiency
- Manage project timelines, vendor coordination, site visits, and quality control throughout build-outs or remodels
- Ensure compliance with health codes, ADA requirements, safety regulations, and local permitting standards
Team Leadership & Development
- Oversee a team of designers, internal teams and external partners, providing creative direction and technical oversight
- Build and maintain a library of design standards, brand guidelines, and fixture specifications for scalable store development
- Review and approve design documentation including floor plans, elevations, FF&E packages, and signage
- Review bids, internal financial documents and provide reporting data
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 6+ years of design experience, preferably in retail, food service or convenience store environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheets, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Working knowledge of health and food service regulations, commercial building codes, and sustainability practices
- Experience managing vendors, external architects, and general contractors.
