Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Space Management Coordinator to join our facilities planning team. You will support space planners with space requests, audits, updates to the space inventory, and coordination of room numbering and CAD documentation.

You will maintain enterprise drawings, integrate CAD data with the IWMS/CAFM system, measure properties, and prepare reports for test-fits, feasibility studies, and capital projects. A Bachelor's degree and CAD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Three years' experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD).
• Knowledge of CAFM and/or database management required.
• Experience with academic, healthcare, research facility/laboratory, or space planning preferred.
• Must be fluent in relevant software and possess excellent communication skills and graphic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Space Planners for space requests, programs, and allocations.
• Conduct space audits, guide space utilization, track MAC scenarios, and From-To lists.
• Update space inventory and coordinate CAD documents with the RED+F space data.
• Develop reports for test-fits and feasibility studies for space planning or capital projects.
• Ensure Space Inventory accuracy and integrate CAD drawings with the database.
• Assist in space information management within NYULHS strategic plans.
