About Us : Elizabeth Interiors is a premier luxury retailer of high-end home furnishings, renowned for its exquisite home furnishings, interior design / whole home solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are now seeking an experienced, talented, and passionate Interior Design Professional (accredited Interior Designer, Interior Design Consultant, or Interior Decorator) to join our dynamic team and further enhance our client's design journey.

Position Overview :

As an Interior Design Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized design solutions to our discerning clients. This client-facing position requires a deep understanding of luxury interior design, an eye for detail, and a passion for transforming spaces into functional, beautiful environments. You will work closely with customers (in-store / in their home / virtually), guiding them through design choices, recommending products, and creating bespoke home décor solutions that align with their individual tastes and lifestyle.

  • Provide expert design guidance to clients through personalized consultations, both in-store, in their home, and virtually, to understand their vision, needs, and preferences.
  • Design Development: Create comprehensive interior design concepts, mood boards, and floor plans that reflect the client’s style while showcasing the Elizabeth Interiors’ high-quality furniture and home décor products.
  • Product Recommendations: Offer expert advice on product selections, including furniture, lighting, textiles, and accessories, ensuring designs align with the client's space, budget, and aesthetic goals.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring timely delivery, seamless coordination of product orders, and smooth installation processes.
  • Relationship Building & Retail Floor Sales: Actively engage with customers on the retail floor, identifying their needs and helping them visualize design solutions that enhance their space. Drive revenue by using design expertise/consultations as a tool to enhance the customer experience and convert foot traffic into sales.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay current with the latest design trends, materials, and industry innovations, offering fresh, modern design solutions while maintaining a classic luxury aesthetic.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Elizabeth Interiors’ team to ensure a cohesive approach to each project and to meet the overall goals of the business.
Experience & Skills :
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design (as an accredited Interior Designer, Interior Design Consultant, or Interior Decorator), preferably within a luxury home furnishings retail environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of design principles, colour theory, spatial planning, and an ability to create functional, aesthetically appealing designs.
  • Familiarity with high-end furniture and home décor brands, materials, and trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele, understand their needs, and provide tailored design solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.

Join a respected luxury brand known for its legacy of excellence. Enjoy the opportunity to work with a team of design experts in an inspiring, collaborative environment, along with a competitive compensation package, including base salary and performance incentives.
