IPS Vantage Tech Services Pvt. Limited in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Merchandising Planogram Specialist to join our Market Research team on-site.

We are looking for a Merchandising Planogram Specialist to join our Market Research team on-site at our Jersey City, NJ corporate facility.

Role Snapshot

• Location: Jersey City, NJ
• Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000 base salary + full benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, and 401(k) with up to 4% company match)
• Core Focus: Developing and maintaining shelf planograms, utilizing space management tools (Spaceman/Blue Yonder), performing syndicated data analysis (Nielsen/Circana/Excel), and collaborating across Key Accounts, Sales, and Retail Buyers.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–4+ years of dedicated experience with planogram software (NIQ Spaceman or JDA/Blue Yonder).
• Strong track record of stable tenure in previous roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• English/Spanish bilingual capability is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

Planogram Development

• Create and maintain planograms using merchandising software such as Spaceman (NIQ).
• Ensure optimal shelf layout, product assortment, facings, and placement to maximize visibility and sales.

Data Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze sales data, demographic insights, and consumer trends to improve assortment decisions and shelf productivity.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales performance and return.

Strategic Merchandising

• Support assortment and merchandising decisions using quantitative and qualitative data from Market Research.
• Align merchandising strategies with company objectives and market opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales teams, Key Account Managers, and Sales Managers to enhance merchandising effectiveness.
• Build and maintain relationships with retail buyers and their merchandising teams.

Field Work

• Conduct store visits to assess merchandising execution, understand consumer behavior, and identify opportunities.
• Focus on resets, shelf conditions, and overall merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with merchandising administration to support planning, execution, and analysis of merchandising projects.

Software & Process Management

• Utilize in-store merchandising software to monitor execution and improve best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of merchandising processes and tools.

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven experience with planogram development and merchandising analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in merchandising software (Spaceman, JDA/Blue Yonder preferred)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Ability to manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of merchandising experience, including planograms and assortment planning
