Job summary

MSH is seeking a Merchandising Planogram Specialist in Jersey City, NJ. This data-first role will build and maintain planograms using store-level sales data to optimize shelf layout and assortment for one or more retail accounts.

You will analyze sales data in Excel (pivot tables), support merchandising strategy with market research, and collaborate with Sales, Key Account Managers, and buyers. This in-office role requires 5 days/week.

Job description

A well-established, family-owned food manufacturer and distributor is hiring a Merchandising Planogram Specialist. This is a data-first merchandising role were you'll build and maintain planograms (JDA/Spaceman or an equivalent platform) using store-level sales data to drive shelf layout and assortment decisions for one or more retail accounts.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain planograms - shelf layout, facings, and assortment.
• Analyze store-level sales data (Excel, including pivot tables) to guide space and assortment decisions.
• Support merchandising strategy using quantitative and qualitative market research.
• Partner with Sales, Key Account Managers, and retail buyer/merchandising teams.
• Conduct periodic store visits to assess shelf conditions and execution.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of merchandising experience, including planograms and assortment planning.
• Hands-on experience with planogram/space-planning software (Spaceman, JDA/Blue Yonder, or equivalent).
• Background in retail, CPG, or a merchandising agency.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in-office 5 days/week.

Compensation & Logistic

Base salary approximately $80K (subject to experience). In-office role based in Jersey City, NJ.
