Vassilis Angelopoulos’ Experimental Space Physics Group and use theoretical, observational, modeling, or experimental methods. Applicants should have a PhD in space physics or related fields and demonstrate breadth, independence, and strong publication records.

Qualifications

• PhD in space physics or related field.
• Demonstrated breadth and independence in research with publications.
• Experience applying ML/AI to space physics or related datasets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct theoretical, observational, modeling or experimental research on solar wind and Earth's magnetosphere.
• Publish findings and present at conferences; collaborate with the Experimental Space Physics Group.
• Utilize ML/AI and analysis tools to advance current mission science (PSP, TRACERS, THEMIS, ARTEMIS, etc.).
