Job summary

Infleqtion in Louisville, CO is seeking a highly experienced thermal analyst to help keep sensor head and electronics within temperature limits as we enable quantum sensing operations in space. This role requires collaboration with customers, management, researchers, engineers, and suppliers across the program lifecycle.

You will model and test thermal designs for EDU and flight hardware, install MLI and bond heaters/thermistors per ASTM-E595, travel up to 10%, and mentor junior engineers while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in thermal design or related engineering field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in similar roles.
• Hands-on engineer with experience building both EDU and flight hardware.
• Experience installing MLI and bonding heaters and thermistors per ASTM-E595.

Responsibilities

• Update system-level thermal model to meet space environmental constraints.
• Discuss and review cooling designs for electronic cards and enclosures.
• Develop and test EDU thermal designs for microgravity environments.
• Adapt flight thermal designs for microgravity testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions with partners.
