Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, standardize, and revise CONOPS/doctrine/TTPs (≤5 per year).
  • Align IW doctrine/TTP with joint/naval strategies and concepts.
  • Provide analyses for IW training events across the Fleet Training Continuum and OFRP.
  • Assess training effectiveness and address capability gaps; recommend improvements.
  • Identify training requirements metrics for IW readiness assessments.
  • Review Fleet training for policy and doctrine alignment.
  • Provide advanced IW training at multiple levels; support LVC training.
  • Offer management support for real-time Fleet training activities.
  • Prepare briefs, white papers, and other required documents.

This position is contingent upon contract award

Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused Space Operations SME to provide specialized technical, analytical, and instructional support to develop doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and deliver advanced tactical training across designated Navy Information Warfare mission areas.

The Space Operations SME conduts Space Situation Awareness (SSA), interprets space-derived ISR, assesses satellite impacts on operations, and provides tactical/technical guidance to commanders -- all supported by documented assignment to billets directly supporting space operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in development, validation, standardization, and revision of no more than 5 concept of operations (CONOPS)/doctrine/TTP per year.
  • Ensure Information Warfare doctrine/TTP are in alignment with joint and naval strategies/concepts/doctrine
  • Provide environment, capabilities and mission analyses for advanced IW training events across all phases of the Fleet Training Continuum and Optimized Fleet Response Plan
  • Support continuous assessment of Information Warfare training effectiveness and required operational capability readiness to address capability and capacity gaps, and provide recommendations for systems, training and process improvement
  • Identify/update/refine unit and staff level training requirements metrics for Information Warfare readiness assessments
  • Assist in review of individual and Fleet training to ensure synchronization with established policy, doctrine/TTPs
  • Provide Information Warfare advanced training at the individual, unit, group, integrated, and joint levels, supporting the Fleet Training Continuum and Optimized Fleet Response Plan
  • Provide expertise, assistance, management support functions and training for real time Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training support to the Fleet and to ensure synchronization with established doctrine/TTPs
  • As directed, provide expertise, assistance, management support functions and training for real time support to the Fleet
  • Prepare briefings, white papers and other documents as required
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years in a Fleet/Space Operations mission area with a strong preference for those who have worked directly in the domain within the last five (5) years.
  • Experience producing finished products (assessments, reports, briefings).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with orbital mechanics, satelite systems, Space Situation Awareness (SSA), space control, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) vulnerabilities, space threat taxonomy, and space weather impacts
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct SSA, interpert space derived ISR, assess satellite impacts on Fleet operations, and integrate SATCOM/PNT into planning
  • Demonstrated ability to fuse multi-domain intelligence into space threat assessments, evaluate satellite performance, and advise on space dependencies/vulnerabilities
  • Ability to analyze complex technical content and translate it into clear, sequenced tasks aligned to performance objectives.
  • Ability to evaluate individual and unit performance objectively, provide constructive feedback, and identify remediation requirements.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with experience supporting technical, operational, and leadership audiences
Desired Qualifications
  • Operational experience in a joint environment integrating IW capabilities with joint forces
  • Operational experience supporting deployed, contingency, or combatant command (CCMD) intelligence requirements
  • Familiarity with Red Team methodologies, adversary emulation, and OPFOR doctrine
