Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. seeks a Space Operations Analyst to support the Combined Forces Space Component Command at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

You will provide operational-level advice to leaders, support space operations plans, and coordinate with USSPACECOM and allied partners to ensure unity of effort in space operations. Responsibilities include developing space operation concepts, assessing capabilities, and contributing to policies and directives.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required at time of application.
• Experience providing decision support among diverse agencies, customers, and stakeholders (e.g., military, civilian, government partners).
• Ability to convey operational capabilities and requirements through customer-facing products and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and coordinate space operations concepts, architectures, plans, policies, doctrine, and requirements.
• Provide analytical and administrative support for space operations planning and decision documents.
• Develop CONOPS, assess capabilities, objectives, and resources to guide space operations strategies.
• Review and coordinate space operations directives, instructions, and agreements; support knowledge management for operations.
• Analyze potential impacts to missions and operations centers including policy changes.
• Support resolution of anomalous events and USG or international policy changes affecting space operations.
• Provide support for Commander Priorities, Readiness, and Assessments including Lessons Learned.
• Participate in technical meetings and working groups to accomplish task requirements.
