Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Space Operations Financial Analyst to support Space Force budgeting, resource allocation, and POM programming. You will prepare documentation, analyze funding needs, and present execution status to stakeholders as part of a high-performance team.

The role requires strong experience with PPBE processes, budget documents, and communications with senior leaders, with a focus on delivering mission-ready financial support.

Qualifications

  • Experience preparing documents needed to process budget estimates, including Execution Plans, Spend Plans, and Unfunded Requirement justification, and producing funding documents
  • Experience as a Resource Advisor
  • Experience creating Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions
  • Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) corporate processes
  • Experience in Air Force, Space Force, or DoD staffing processes
  • Experience creating verbal and written communication products for clients, including presentations, memorandums, data analysis products, and financial documentation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to analyze missions and develop alternative solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, update, and execute financial documents for the current year execution phase and present execution status, data, and plans to stakeholders
  • Support Space Force resource allocation and provide POM programming recommendations to senior personnel
  • Collect mission resource needs across the Directorate, consolidate, propose adjustments and prioritization for inclusion into POM processes
  • Report on past, current, and future resource needs and ensure alignment with Space Force capabilities
  • Coordinate with directorate-level personnel to finalize prioritized resource positions for budgeting processes

Space Operations Financial Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your financial expertise in support of the Space Force?As a financial analyst, you will have a chance to build your skills and provide critical financial support as a member of our team.You will join a high-performance team to strategically evaluate, assess and analyze, manage, and execute a financial resource portfolio.

You will be primarily responsible for preparing, updating, and executing the various financial documents needed during the current year execution phase, as well as presenting execution status, data, and plans to close out current fiscal year funds to your mission area’s key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for all past, current, and future resource needs to include the review, evaluation, and maintenance of Space Force capabilities.

You will also be responsible for providing resource allocation and Program Objective Memorandum programming recommendations to directorate-level senior personnel. You will collect mission resource needs and requirements across the Directorate and consolidate, propose adjustments and recommended prioritization and strategy, and coordinate a prioritized Directorate resource position for inclusion into the various POM corporate processes.

You Have:

  • Possession of excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Master’s degree

  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification

  • Level II or Level III FM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
