Job summary

KBR NSIC team seeks a Microelectronics Analysis Engineer/Analyst to support assessments of foreign microelectronics enabling PLEO and navigation systems. You will analyze semiconductors, ICs, FPGAs, and timing devices, contributing to national-level intelligence on technology maturity and supply chains.

The role requires strong engineering analysis, collaboration with intelligence professionals, and the ability to translate complex findings into finished intelligence products for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/microelectronics engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in semiconductor engineering, microelectronics analysis, or technical intelligence.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices, ICs, and modern microelectronics technologies.
• Experience communicating findings to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical intelligence analysis of microelectronics in foreign PLEO, GNSS, and PNT systems.
• Characterize semiconductor technologies for spacecraft avionics and timing architectures.
• Assess ICs, FPGAs, ASICs, SoCs, processors, memory, RF components.
• Evaluate radiation-hardened and space-qualified microelectronics.
• Analyze manufacturing capabilities, foundries, and supply chains.
