Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Huntsville, AL, to work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects across mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid and avionics systems.

You will gain hands-on, real-world experience, receive mentorship from managers, and participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization while supporting manufacturing engineering initiatives during a 15-week, full-time internship. Housing and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for work in the U.S.
• Enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for space.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of manufacturing engineering across mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid, and avionics systems.
• Support integration of design for manufacturing, test, operations, and materials & processes.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience with mentorship and feedback from mentors and managers.
