Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform repair and maintenance across facilities, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and safety systems. You will inspect equipment, file work orders, and coordinate with engineering to ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on trades experience, can operate heavy equipment, and are able to work at heights; a TS/SCI clearance is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in 1 or more building trades (plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry) is required.
• Able to operate heavy equipment (aerial work platforms, forklift, etc.) and work at heights.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
• U.S. citizen able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs and modifications to general facility office space.
• Perform annual equipment inspections and routine service checks.
• Interface with engineering and procurement departments.
• Complete work order logs and update scheduler.
• Perform maintenance on fire suppression, plumbing, doors/windows, flooring, roofs.
