Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking a Launch Technician (EGSE) to install, calibrate and troubleshoot launch site instrumentation and control systems. You will read schematics, install SCADA, perform tests and calibrations, and support launch day operations as part of a small team with minimal supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0-3 years in aerospace or instrumentation, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years aerospace or instrumentation experience.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical drawings and prints.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to policy, procedures and specifications.
• Constructs launch SCADA systems from instrumentation and communication devices.
• Installs, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs major electronic systems and peripheral devices.
• Reads schematics and wiring diagrams for installation, troubleshooting and repairing components.
• Performs launch site checkouts for test and launch operations and supports launch day activities.
