Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks an R&D Electrical Engineer capable of taking designs from concept through test and deployment on space missions. You will work in a multidisciplinary ISR-4 group, delivering high-precision instrumentation for national security and NASA missions, with growth toward leadership on subsystems.

You will collaborate across engineering and science teams, perform rigorous design validation, and contribute to life-cycle support from earth orbit to deep-space missions,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated coursework or design experience in analog and/or digital electronics.
• Knowledge of systems-level engineering balancing performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Experience with space-flight hardware design considerations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define specifications, design, model, fabricate, and test instrument hardware.
• Lead development efforts for space-based detection systems and payloads.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure mission success.
