Job summary

Northwood is seeking a Finance & Business Operations Analyst to own the economics of our global ground network. You will build the operating model and revenue and cost forecasts that guide pricing, network design, and deployment, collaborating with business development, engineering, supply chain, and operations to drive efficient, scalable growth.

This cross-functional role requires strong analytical skills, experience in strategic finance/FP&A, and the ability to translate cost insights

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, economics, or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or business operations roles.
Excellent analytical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, financial modeling).
Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive decisions with incomplete data.

Responsibilities

Own the company operating model tying revenue and cost to pricing, network design, and deployment.
Analyze revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, and capital expenditures; provide strategic recommendations.
Partner with business development on pricing, deal economics, and revenue/cash impacts of new opportunities.
Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations to identify cost drivers and lead cost-down efforts across hardware and infrastructure.
Evaluate design and sourcing tradeoffs and translate them into clear cost implications for engineering decisions.
