Job summary

Redwire Space seeks a Hardware Test Engineer to design test plans, procedures, and scripts for validating space-grade hardware. You will validate hardware under extreme environmental conditions and contribute to mission success on high-profile programs.

You will work at the Albuquerque facility, travel to test sites, and mentor teams while delivering reliable results. A 5+ year aerospace/test engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years aerospace/test engineering experience.
• Experience writing test plans, procedures, reports, and data packages.
• Experience with environmental testing (TVAC, Vibration, and Shock).

Responsibilities

• Design test plans, procedures, and scripts to validate space-grade hardware.
• Develop testing procedures and automation for scripted testing.
• Analyze data, diagnose issues, and recommend testing improvements.
• Travel to test facilities up to 15% and support testing outside business hours as needed.
• Produce reports and track test metrics for all activities.
