Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the technician team by resolving obstacles and working with responsible engineers to disposition non-conformances on Leo hardware builds in Kirkland, WA. You will collaborate with engineering to specify and build or procure tools and line equipment for spacecraft hardware development, including QTP/ATP support.

The role requires 1+ year experience in integrating, testing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems, and CAD tool

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 1+ year experience integrating, testing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
  • 1+ year experience with CAD tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics.

Responsibilities

  • Write work instructions, troubleshoot non-conformances and support satellite assembly build and test campaigns.
  • Definition & implementation of Work Orders and standard operating procedures.
  • Specify, design and help procure assembly equipment, tools and systems to meet program development requirements takt time & cost optimization planning.
  • Review designs for manufacturability and sign off for design release.
  • Must be willing to work off shifts and weekends as required.
