Astranis is hiring a Harness Manufacturing Associate (Fall 2026) to support wire harness and cable assembly processes. This role offers hands-on exposure in production environments, manufacturing documentation, quality systems, and process optimization in a low/medium volume setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on design.
• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, and improvement of wire harness and cable assembly processes.
• Assist with wire harness and cable assembly builds (cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, lacing).
• Participate in quality inspections.
• Help analyze manufacturing issues (defects, rework, throughput).
• Assist with equipment qualification, tooling and fixture improvements, and test setups.
• Support DFM/DFA feedback to engineering teams.
• Collect and review production data for process improvement initiatives.
