Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an Assembly Supervisor in Corona, CA to lead day-to-day assembly operations for high‑quality, mission‑critical hardware. You will guide and develop teams, coordinate workflows, and ensure safety and efficiency to meet production goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams in a fast-paced space and defense environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Organizational and leadership abilities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads assembly teams to meet production schedules and ensure accurate, timely completion of work.
• Coordinates daily workflow and staffing to align with production priorities and customer requirements.
• Monitors assembly operations for compliance with quality standards and verifies products meet specifications.
• Collaborates with Quality to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and ensures adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) policies.
• Trains and mentors' assembly personnel in proper techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Implements process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Inspects assembled components and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitates communication across assembly, engineering, production, and support teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and safe work practices.
