Karman Space & Defense in Corona, CA is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead day-to-day assembly operations for critical space hardware, guiding teams, coordinating workflows, and maintaining production standards to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

This role requires a high school diploma, hands-on manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and advanced MS Office skills with excellent communication to coordinate with quality, engineering, and production teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leads assembly teams to meet production schedules and ensure accurate, timely completion of work.
• Coordinates daily workflow and staffing to align with production priorities and customer requirements.
• Monitors assembly operations for compliance with quality standards and verifies products meet specifications.
• Collaborates with Quality to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment and ensures adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) policies.
• Trains and mentors' assembly personnel in proper techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Implements process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Inspects assembled components and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitates communication across assembly, engineering, production, and support teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and safe work practices.
