Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to design, develop, and test software for space systems and ground technologies. You will write clean code, collaborate with senior engineers, and follow best practices while using Git for version control.

You'll participate in code reviews, document designs, and stay current with evolving industry trends to grow in a collaborative environment. A U.S. security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically, 0 - 2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of one or more programming languages and software development principles.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required
