Job summary

Solestial is seeking a Quality Manager to own the quality systems across our space-grade manufacturing line in Tempe, AZ. You will build and maintain QMS, define inspection gates, and drive root-cause analysis to ensure launch-ready, space-worthy solar panels.

In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to establish quality standards, manage supplier audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives for next-phase manufacturing growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality experience in high-reliability manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a QMS aligned with AS9100 or ISO 9001
• Lead customer reviews and regulatory audits as quality representative
• Define inspection protocols and quality gates on the production line
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions (NCRs, CAPAs)
• Collaborate with design teams to improve manufacturability and testability
• Own document control and configuration management tools/policies
• Manage supplier quality standards and perform supplier audits
• Own quality data via dashboards to track metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Train and support the team on quality culture and best practices
